Happy to announce I have a piece in the 2012 Artistic Rebuttal. Artistic Rebuttal is a collection featuring statements and illustrations with the hope to illustrate the importance of the arts in todays world. The brainchild of Amy Scheidegger and a group of other awesome people, the hope is that it persuades people, maybe even you, of the importance of the arts in today’s society. I’m super excited to be a part of the collection. And as a bonus, the foreward is by an old friend and winner of Work of Art Season 2, Kymia Nawabi. You can purchase a physical copy at Lulu. I went with a pirate theme for these Chuck Taylors for the Dragoncon charity auction supporting the ALS of Georgia. The auction will be held Sunday Sept 2nd in Atlanta if you want to bid.

I’m participating in the Chucks for Fiver charity event at Dragoncon in Atlanta this Labor day. I have to design this awesome pair of Chuck Taylor shoes to be auctioned off Sunday at the convention. The charity is the ALS Association of Georgia. Hope my design raises some funds for those who need it.
