So I have spent about 9 hours today fixing the bad parts of the website. In doing so I messed up my frontpage which is almost fixed now and somehow deleted my blog. Luckily I was able to save the text and pictures but not the html. So pardon the ugly blog for now, I’ve had enough for the day.

This is our new home. There is lots of stuff we need to do and the night shot is much cooler as the landlords have an awesome lit garden. I’ll see if I can get that shot soon. Anyway, this room will be Jessica’s Print studio.

Then we have the rest of the house, and bookshelves still need to built, couches delivered but as you can see Araby has already found a way to get at the outdoor plants.

CONvergence was great yet again, now the move needs to take precedence over everything else. We still have the Iowa City Book Festival which Jessica is vending in on July 18th. Other than that lots of packing. I have actually had the Wii on lately as I have been playing No More Heroes and just got Punch Out from the library. Hope everyone is doing well, see some of you in NC soon?

Araby doesn’t agree with my decision to give away my Tv cabinet instead of moving it. I better check it for kitties when the guy comes to get it tomorrow.

Had a really great time in Madison and was very happy to see old faces and make a lot of new friends as well. I’ll have more of course over on Con-news in the coming days if you want to hear more.
I wrote a 3 page self contained thing as soon as I got home, that I’m happy with. It’s not really for show, just a way to get something out of my system.
It was nice to come home to a big etsy order, so thank you for that! Some of the creature’s barely stay with me for long after they are created. The fact that there are no copies, make me think they are all just spreading to the far corners of the country to plot their takeover. Of course the main force is here with me, so I think I’ll be o.k.

I return to work part time, on May 4th. The coming two weeks will see me having one last mad dash of fun before I get back into it.
This weekend I’ll be in Madison, Wi Friday-Sunday for Oddcon. Every one of these trips I make now knowing I probably won’t be returning to these towns for a long long time, since we are moving back east this fall. It’s kind of sad, but not heartbreaking.
Then next week, I’m hitting the Picador Wed the 29th for Mc Chris yes, of Aqua Teen Fame. Then on Thursday the 30th I’ll be in Chicago for a special advance preview of Star Trek! Sure it’s just a week early, but if you know me, then you know how awesome it is. Friday May 1st, the first summer movie comes out in Wolverine and I wonder how seeing Star Trek first will affect my opinion of Logan and his mutant co. On Saturday It will be a morning decision between driving to Demicon for one day, or staying in town and hitting Daydreams for Free Comic Book Day!

Hi everyone. A very Happy Holidays to everyone. I am ready to lay around and watch movies all day. I have uploaded this weeks peas two days early, and I do truly wish Peas upon everyone. Have a great day, enjoy it and be safe! 

Jessica just spoiled me rotten. I got lots of awesome Blu Rays including the best movie of the year Wall-E and an awesome I-POD touch!!! Yes. I have joined the digital revolution. Also got a wicked cool Joker Munny and some artwork. A great Christmas presents. Now time to go play with my new toys. And I get to open my brothers presents later on actual Christmas. I painted Jessica a special Printmaker Creature as part of her gifts. Here she is.  

I remember the first time I got on the web. Freshman year in college. Email was all green and just text. So much information was out there. It was amazing. And then things got more and more graphic-y and things started to slow down. Then came the high speed revolution and media/tv and music started flowing through the inter-tubes at an amazing pace. Every Jo-Blo had a blog(me as well) and we just started putting nonsense on the net.

I find myself streamlining my web browsing experience even as I visit a far larger array of sites. Maybe it’s because of that. First I stopped going to the traditional sites and moved more to the blogs that give you just enough info, and if you want more you could go to the provided link. Now I’m streamlining even more, using sites Like Twitter, to just get the headlines from my favorite destinations and only leaving twitter if something appeals to me.

It’s even affected how much I blog here. In the past I would make a post if I liked a movie or went to a show. Now I get lazy and write a sentence on a movie through Twitter. “That was a good movie.” What used to take a paragraph can be summed up in one sentence. Does it make it interesting? Not really, but you know where I stand without reading through my reasons why.
I don’t really know how I feel about the lessening of content, but it’s here and I’m sure there is another new Twitter, waiting around the corner for all of us.
