The Crazy cool artwork of Tadanori Yokoo over at io9 is bizarre.

Going to see the Swell Season at the Orange Peel May 20th.

The first two episodes of the New Doctor Who have aired. I really like Matt Smith as the Doctor, which is strange in a small way since I thought David Tennant would always be the reason I liked the show. Anyway BBC America airs the first episode this coming Saturday April 17th, with a marathon of David Tennant episodes before hand if your new to the show.

First day of vacation, we ate at the delicious Laughing Seed which is superb for the vegetarians in your life, stopped by Comic Envy to browse the geekery, and then traded in books at Mr. K’s where I got this gem,

from 1963. I’m sure these stories will be winners in the political correctness column. Time to batten down the hatches and get to work.
Look for more paint later.

busy geek.

Heroes was pretty good tonight even if they are taking all their cues from Dc comics of the 1980’s and a little Star Trek thrown in. New R.A. Salvatore Drizzt book tomorrow. Can not wait. Need to get alot done, so little time. Someone should come out with a txt only phone. Make it cheaper monthly by eliminating air time and we will have a nation of text clogging the airwaves. I’d be fine with that, as you can end the conversation at any time. Just like I’m doing right now.

Geek Purchase of the Week!

May I reccomend Jason’s The Last Musketeer. This comic by one of Europe’s finest tells the tale of one of the Three Musketeers, still alive in the present day and Earth’s only hope to fend off a Martian invasion. (of course that makes perfect sense:>) If you’ve ever read Jason’s The Left Bank Gang or his I killed Adolf Hilter, then you know what to expect, but for everyone else it’s a unique comic storytelling style that you can only find in the comic format full of great color and humor and truly bizarre story.
