Battlestar Galactica # 2 O.k. so I think everyone is aware that I think Battlestar is the best show on Television, with Lost coming in second, sorry. So of course I enjoy this book. It’s not as gritty as the show and is a little more sci-fi but that’s o.k. by me.
Civil War Frontline # 7. continues to serve as a backup piece to the main Civil War. Writing is good and art is o.k. Not as good as the main story but o.k. Alright I’m off to get ready for Lost tonight. yeah!
So no new comics for me this week so I thought I’d share some impressions I’ve got from some of the ones I read on my lunch break at work.
The current run on Uncanny X-men, is very talky but the whole shiar storyline reminds me a lot of the late eighties sci-fi wasteland x-men that I loved so much. remember Jim Lee X-men?
A graphic novel worth checking out is American Born Chinese
Grant Morrison’s Batman run too me is just too hokey. Too 70’s batman. I miss the dark in the dark knight.

O.k. i’m heading out to NC until tuesday, a trip I’ve had planned since January. It’s too bad I planned it so early because next week too of my very good friends are getting married. And I’m going to miss it. :< Anyway. I'll try to get online over the weekend. Enjoy Lost tonight!

Loveless # 11, add new plot points, new assasins, and more mystery than you can shoot with a six shooter, Keep em coming.
Civil War Fontline # 6. exactly what is the point of the sleeper cell story. it’s kinda pointless so far. Really like the main story and Speedball in the accused is still getty gritty.
Overall worth the price of admission.

Big week for me and funny books. All A plusses here.
Astonishing X-Men # 17 is typical of this storyline so far. You spend most of your time wondering what’s in the characthers head and what’s actually happening. And I’m not sure exactly how Whedon is going to wrap it up, but pretty nice and still the only X-book worth reading.
Civil War # 4. Wow. Steve Mcniven’s art is prefect, and how after this issue could anyone really be on Tony and Reed’s side. this is some serious stuff. Man, Iron Man is so close to be the most hated ‘hero’ in the Marvel U.
And Moon Knight # 5. not quite as intense as before but heck a David Finch Moon Knight is just something so nice. 
BSG # 1 well it only took three months to come out after issue # 0. Was it worth the wait? Yeah I think if you like comics and you like BSG then you’ll aprecieate this series. The art could be better but tells the story and Pak writes some nice pieces that just add to the universe. Hopefully they do things with the book that you cant get away with on a tv budget.
Loveless # 10. Although I think Fell has replaced this as my favorite book this is still the prettiest dirty book I could buy. I can see more and more of this story coming together. And it’s a nice violent ride.
Didn’t pick up Alan Moore’s Lost Girls. 75.00 is just too much. did anyone else get it?
Fell# 6 missed it last week but now i’ve got it and boy is it good. I love snowtown. I love richard fell. I looooovvee mayko. and yet is this really the dark gloomy place i want to love? heck yeah. I admit it. Warren Ellis writes like no other.
Astonishing X-men #16. Kitty Pride kicks major butt. Some space stuff. Wolverine in british dialogue. Only Joss Whedon would torment us so. and all i’ve got to say is yeahbutwhat? really. I agree.
o.k. week. i decided not to pick up new avengers this week so it’s official im dropping that book just got boring. picked up loveless # 9 which is still pretty solid. also got civil war frontline # 4 which continues to put speedball through some torment. got to wonder whether marvel knows they are making him a better characther and if they still plan to kill him off. anyway, got to go to work. hope everyone is doing great!
Civil War # 3 came out this week and I gotta say Mcniven was the absolutely best choice for this book. the eyes on these heroes are phenomenal. They potray so much emotion. Storyline is superb and the moment some fanboys have been waiting for years happens on the very last page. Nicely done.
Nova # 4 Wraps up the mini series which leads into Annhilation a six part story. great. Nova has become something of a powerful hero in all this. and more Drax. nice. B+
