I was asked to create a cylon from the original Battlestar Galactica. I think he came out o.k. I love the current series but of the original I don’t really remember much about it. I had a lot of fun working on him and it was more challenging than doodling whatever creature was currently in my head. I did create a new original creature in the Spartan Warrior. Im about to settle in here in a moment and watch Lost on the computer and then later today head out for Iron Man. Im not reading anymore reviews today. They need to say something negative to lower my expectations but so far they havent really. All the reviews are pretty praising of the movie even some comparing it to Spiderman 1. Wow. Then a swift ride home to catch tonight’s BSG!
Oh yeah the final vertical styled Peas for a while is up. It’s pretty cute. next week is our big relaunch We think youll like it!

im enjoying the second season of dr. who on dvd. It’s got a different flavor than the first and that’s o.k.
saving up for a 360. cashed in some credit card points for a gift card to best buy which will help.
going to see david lynch’s latest Inland Empire tonight, so I will be missing Heroes so noone tell me what happens.

Battlestar Galactica continued it’s third season last night and after watching a pretty great finish to the Colts-Patriots game I was ready for some space opera melodrama. The show isn’t hitting the peaks for me that it did during it’s second year but it is still easily one of my top three shows to watch every week, and I’m pulling for it to get renewed next year.
Heroes tonight returned and brought with it Christopher Eccleston(DR. WHo) Do you realize they could kill off the entire cast and just replace them with new heroes if they wanted too? Better not ask for a pay raise Greg Gruneberg. I like the hokeyness of this show. Yeah I just said Hokeyness. Are the people in Blacksburg, Va happy now?
Kind of a lazy day today. Got up too early for the hour I got in, got some coffee, Watched the pilot for Big Love, hope its another great HBO series. Tommorow night Battlestar premiers at its new night. Maybe i’ll actually get to see it. Friday is just too hard for telelvision but sunday night, I can definetly handle that. Anyone who reads this and wants to lend me there cable, we can be friends, i’ll even bring the chips.
Star Trek The Next Generation The Space Between #1 0f 6 IDW publishing. The first Star Trek Comic released in years comes from IDW on this the 20th anniversary of the Next Generation. The story feels very TNG and the only complaint i can have is that it’s set during the 1st year. I’d prefer to explore things that took place after the movies, to further the story but I can see how that could just be wishful thinking. The story has some good elements and the art is pretty good. All in all it’s Star Trek in the four color boxes again and I’m definetly o.k. with that. b plus
BattleStar Galactica #5 Dynamite Publishing. More on the old cyclons and the returners and a setup for a pretty cool Sharon Valeri fight with herself. It’s not really for anyone other than fans of the show and held to the shows’ high standards it unfortunately can’t compete. b-

Astonishing gets all spacey and Mr Whedon and Mr Cassidy deliver again. not as fun as the past couple of issues but still the best book of the week.

battlestar galactica # 4 interesting story. like where the cylon thinks baltar is a cylon, which he may or may not be.
